Once you have decided upon bi-folding doors it’s important to have a think about how you’d like them to open. You can choose the ‘traffic door’ or access lead to open to the inside or outside, it can sit as an independent leaf (hinged to the wall) or form part of the folding door stack (hinged on the door side). Having a traffic door can be handy for just popping out to the garden quickly or letting the dog out as you don’t need to slide all the doors back to gain access.

You’ll also be able to decide which way you’d like the doors to slide (left or right) and the more doors you have in the set the more options are available.
